After just a few years of marriage, filled with constant arguments, a young man and his wife decided the only way to save their marriage was to try professional counseling. They had been at each other’s throat for some time and felt that this was their last straw.
When they arrived at the counselor’s office, the counselor jumped right in and opened the floor for discussion. “What seems to be the problem?”
Immediately, the husband held his long face down without anything to say. On the other hand, the wife began talking 90 miles an hour describing all the wrongs within their marriage. After five, ten, fifteen minutes of listening to the wife, the counselor went over to her, picked her up by her shoulders, kissed her passionately for several minutes, and sat her back down.
After that, the wife sat there- speechless.
He looked over at the husband who was staring in disbelief at what had happened.
The counselor spoke to the husband, “Your wife NEEDS that at least twice a week!”
The husband scratched his head and replied, “Okay, I can have her here by three o’clock on Tuesdays and Thursdays.”
One of the things I am doing is ToastMasters. We meet on Tuesday morning, and tomorrow I will be the Jokemaster and will be presenting this!!

Toastmasters International is a world organization that builds new clubs and support all clubs in achieving excellence for providing support and learning in an environment with positive and constructive feedback. They empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. Their mission, straight from their website.
Communities or corporations can form both open and closed or private groups, too. Tuesday is my 3rd meeting. I joined right away, and became involved immediately. Our club meets weekly, at 7 am sharp, Tuesdays. It’s early, which means my day starts at 5:30, but it’s a great way to start your day!
Definitely no working out on these morning, unless a super quick run, and I don’t have to drive anywhere. Actually, I would be in bed by 9 the morning before, and could get up at 4:30 to lift at the apartment gym, or run a few miles around the lake. It’s all possible, but you have to plan the whole week in a way so that you get it all in, including your sleep, and already cooked meals.
