Work out in 30 minutes or less.

Hi.  Going to the gym this morning?  Oh, you don’t have time?  Not sure of what good it would even do?  Think again.

Here’s what I did.  I’m all about quality over quantity.  I have to make it count these days.  And I do what makes me feel good.  It’s tough, but hey, COFFEE.

Start by warming up on the stair stepper for just 5 minutes at a speed that’s comfortable for you.  If you have to, stop there.  Of if you’re like me, take the next 10 minutes to the treadmill.

This is the first time that I started off running in the first 5 minutes, or a very fast jog.  Only to up the incline and bring it down to a very brisk walk and then back to a jog.

2 exercises followed.

Like a boss.

I’ve been making my morning workouts.  I’m a big advocate for a lot of things, but if you tell me you don’t have time to work out, make time.  I don’t care if you have 15 minutes.  In 15 minutes, you can get warmed up in 3-5, and do at least 2 exercises, 3 sets of 12 reps each.  I mean come on.

Sunday Funday!

Church, check.

Lunch with friends. Check. (I actually ordered this time, there’s always plenty of money in the beginning of the month.)

Then fast forward a few hours for a couple hours….

With warm clothes, a blanket, journal, and my book with me. Because this isn’t my first time hanging out at no skate park. But it had been a while.  And because it was FREEZING outside.  Gotta be one of the coldest days of the year.  Then you see this picture of my son wearing only a sweatshirt.

Try this.

I’m gonna have to look a couple of these up.

Man, 5 am is gonna come early. But that’s the plan. Good night.

PS, Becca won Lee Labrada’s contest last year, Lean Body for Her. She got to work out with Jamie Eason, fitness model from Houston, Texas. Cool, right?!

By the way, did you sign up for any fitness contests this year? Or, did you join any fitness Facebook groups? Will you be working out with anyone? Write those health and life goals down anywhere yet? What are you doing to hold yourself accountable in your life this year anyway? Do you go to Church? Sg

When you ask your friend to take your pic.

Working out with friends is the best!  Not only do they make your workout super fun, but you also get to see them and hang out with them at the same time.  It really is the best of both worlds, and yes, you are actually killing 2 birds with one stone.

You two can talk, bounce ideas off one another, push each other, lift each other up, and laugh till you can’t laugh any more.  They will also take your picture when you ask.  These were snapped by my best friend.  We were hanging in the back, just a half hour before we got down in the gym!
